Extend USB Camera Distance with MOFO™ Cables

Extend USB Camera Distance with MOFO™ Cables

Length matters, especially when connecting video cameras and other USB devices. High-speed (USB 2.0) and full-speed (USB 1.1) devices feature a normal maximum cable length of 5m and SuperSpeed (USB 3.0) devices feature a normal cable length of 3m. That leaves many applications short -- especially with the proliferation of video conferencing, huddle rooms and wall-mounted cameras.

TechLogix Media over Fiber Optic™ USB cables extend the length of SuperSpeed USB 3.0 signals up to 30m (100 feet). No drivers or power is required -- the cable is completely powered from the USB connection.

MOFO™ cables feature a male USB connector on the host side (typically a PC) and a female USB connector on the client side (typically the camera).

Plus, MOFO™ cables are built with four strands of re-terminable multimode fiber allowing cable runs to be upgraded and re-purposed in the future. Simply cut the cable and re-terminate using standard fiber optic tools and connectors
