The service FoxSports should offer is a download option for sporting events in 4k. I would love to watch Supercross in 4K after the event is over. I would pay a premium for the file downloaded.

DirecTV packages of ‘SELECT TV’ or higher will include 4k content. If there are no set-top boxes in the home, and there is only one DIRECTV READY 4k TV, there will be an additional monthly charge of $7 per month.
Yes, the inexpensive 4k screens from big box stores will work. They need to support HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2.

You mention DirecTV and a compatible receiver, how much extra for the upgraded 4k service and what would the consumer pay for “a compatible receiver”? Will the inexpensive 4k flat screens advertised at Best Buy or Sam’s Club work with this transmission? I’m assuming the consumer would have to upgrade to 2.0 HDMI cables? Please let me know. Thank you.
