Application Guide: Connecting & Charging AV Devices with Table Inserts

Table inserts provide a low-cost, unobtrusive method for charging devices and connecting AV sources to displays. They fit in a standard 2.25" - 2.75" (57mm - 70mm) grommet hole, which is the standard size on most tables, desks, and podiums. A trim ring can be used for larger grommet hole sizes.

TechLogix standard table inserts feature a low-profile, “snagless” mounting design and are crafted from furniture-grade aluminum with a black finish. They are ideal for basic AV connectivity and device charging. Options include HDMI pass-through, DisplayPort pass-through, VGA pass-through, and USB charging.

Table inserts are also available with buttons for integrated display control. These units can be used "stand-alone" with a direct communication link to the display, or in conjunction with an integrated switcher to facilitate display control and source switching.
