Terms and Conditions
This statement of policy supersedes any previous policy expressed or implied and no representative or person is authorized to assume any other liability or adopt any other policy for TechLogix without our written consent. All terms and conditions, prices and policies are subject to change without notice.
Terms of Payment and Credit
TechLogix accepts payment via check, money order, major credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover), or bank transfer. Orders may also be shipped on open account terms to established and approved accounts at the sole discretion of TechLogix. Approved term discounts do not apply to freight charges. Past due balances are subject to a 1.5% service charge per month (18% per annum). All prices are billed in U.S. currency.
Orders will be charged the appropriate sales tax required by law unless a valid tax exemption certificate is submitted with the first order.
Orders for less than $50.00 are accepted at the discretion of TechLogix and are subject to a $5.00 handling charge.
Unless otherwise instructed, partial orders will be shipped and invoiced accordingly.
Returns & Damaged Shipments
All damages, DOA or shortages must be reported within 5 days of receiving your order.
A Return Authorization number must be obtained from the TechLogix Support Team (firstname.lastname@example.org) BEFORE returning any merchandise for any reason. All returns require a Return Authorization Number; returns without a Return Authorization Number will be rejected and refused. Return Authorization numbers are valid for a maximum of 30 days. When requesting a Return Authorization, you will need to provide proof-of-purchase, including but not limited to invoice number or purchase order number.
Unless otherwise indicated at time of order or quotation, all TechLogix products are subject to the following return conditions:
- 100% refund on stock items returned within 45 days of shipment in like-new condition. Custom order and special build items are not eligible for return.
- Minimum 10% restocking fee on items returned 46 - 90 days from time of shipment in like-new condition. Custom order and special build items are not eligible for return.
- No returns on items returned after 90 days from time of shipment
- Opened items will be subject to a minimum 10% restocking fee plus additional charges for repackaging and testing at the exclusive option of TechLogix
TechLogix reserves the right to refuse any returns at any time and may change this policy at any time.
When a credit is issued, TechLogix reserves the right to refund a credit card, issue a company check or place a credit on the account at the exclusive option of TechLogix. Should a credit be placed on the account, all credits expire after 180 days of non-use.
TechLogix offers stock rotation under 1-for-1 terms for all like-new, current (not discontinued or closeout) merchandise for active and approved stocking distributors. Special order merchandise is not eligible for stock rotation. All stock rotation shipping costs are solely the customer’s responsibility. Approved stock rotations are not subject to re-stocking fees.
Unless otherwise noted, TechLogix stock merchandise carries a 3-year limited warranty. Special order merchandise carries a 30-day warranty from TechLogix and, where noted, a transferable warranty from the original product manufacturer. TechLogix offers free ground freight on orders for TechLogix stock merchandise exceeding $1,500 shipped to a factory-preapproved stocking location with a contiguous United States address. Special order merchandise does not qualify for free freight. All other freight charges and fees, including customs and duties when shipping internationally, are the customer's responsibility. We reserve the right to charge back additional carrier fees for incorrect shipping addresses or 3rd party accounts. Truck shipments are Door to Door only. Inside Delivery would need to be arranged in advance and would be an additional charge.
TechLogix will drop ship TechLogix stock merchandise for customers at no additional charge. Special order merchandise is subject to a $50.00 drop ship charge.
Shipping Discrepancies and Claims
Shipping discrepancies and damages are your responsibility. Any claim for apparent loss and/or damage must be filed with TechLogix within a maximum of 5 days of your merchandise receipt. Title and ownership of merchandise is transferred from TechLogix to the consignee upon receipt of shipment by the assigned transportation company. Acknowledgment that the material listed on the Bill of Lading has been received in good condition is made by the transportation company. Upon receipt, please inspect your shipment carefully.
Custom Products and Special Orders
Some products may have to be special ordered from a TechLogix supplier and/or manufactured specifically for your application. This merchandise is referred to as “special order merchandise” and is non-cancelable, non-returnable upon acceptance of your purchase order by TechLogix. Price and payment terms for all special order merchandise will be "as per quotation" from TechLogix and be valid for no longer than 30 days from date of quote. Special order merchandise is not subject to free freight, stock rotation and warranty programs. Special order merchandise coverages are indicated above where applicable and expressly stated.
TechLogix and its staff are not responsible for any consequential damages, incidental or punitive damages, or incidental expenses, including injury to persons or property from any product purchased from TechLogix. TechLogix is not responsible for typographical errors.
