TechLogix's GDPR Statement & Policy

TechLogix's GDPR Statement & Policy

What is GDPR?

The European Union has taken a monumental step in protecting the fundamental right to privacy for every EU resident with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) which will be effective from May 25, 2018. EU residents will now have greater say over what, how, why, where, and when their personal data is used, processed, or disposed. Any organization that works with EU residents' personal data in any manner, irrespective of location, has obligations to protect the data.

TechLogix’s Commitment

TechLogix fully believes in and respects user’s right to data privacy and protection. Our business is founded on enabling people with technology, not using their data to create profit. The only information we maintain has been provided through first contact and that data is held in strict confidence with internal checks and procedures. That said, we do recognize that the GDPR will help us strengthen our processes even more and continue to develop as an industry leading organization.

How Our Data is Collected

TechLogix does not purchase solicited contact lists, nor have we in the past. 100% of our customer and contact data has come from user and potential user first contact. Often this is from online sign up forms and trade events.

How We Use Data

TechLogix has never sold our data to third parties. Our data is securely stored in non-public locations and is only used for business purposes, including product updates and announcements. At any time recipients can opt out and request all of their data be deleted.

How We Are Moving Forward

Even though GDPR is now in effect, we acknowledge that GDPR will be an ongoing and evolving part of our business. And as your partner, we want to help you make your process as seamless as possible. Rest assured we will continue to implement and improve key areas of privacy protection, including:

  • Providing access controls
  • Encrypting, anonymizing and/or deleting user data
  • Performing data audits or assessments using data processing logs
  • Creating provisions for data subjects rights
  • Enhancing security for user data

Requesting Your Data be Deleted (Right To Erasure)

You can request your data be deleted at any time from TechLogix by contacting us. We take all requests seriously and will remove all non-legal records without undue delay.
