TechLogix Upgrades HDMI + ARC Extender
TechLogix is upgrading their twisted pair extender line with the TL-TP70-HD2ARC.
Twisted pair extenders are notoriously limited in functionality. Most products transmit HDMI and IR reliably, but when it comes to audio -- especially the latest audio return channel (ARC) formats -- extenders simply aren't compatible.
The TechLogix TL-TP70-HD2ARC solves the audio return channel dilemma by delivering HDMI extension, IR and RS232 extension, and ARC processing with coaxial breakout in a single, easy-to-use extender package.
Building from TechLogix's previous generation ARC extenders, the TL-TP70-HD2ARC features 1080p HDMI extension up to 70m, 4K60 HDMI extension up to 40m, flexible power from either the transmitter or receiver, and bi-directional IR and RS232 control.
Additional customer-requested features include a locking power supply, diagnostic LEDs, mounting ears, and field-upgradeable firmware via a micro USB port.
The TL-TP70-HD2ARC is TAA-compliant and available from all approved TechLogix resellers.
