aboutGOLF Simulators Leverage TechLogix MOFO™ Cables
TechLogix and aboutGOLF are partnering to create a more flexible golf simulator experience for customers.
aboutGOLF designs and manufactures intelligent and authentic golf simulators that are customized for their client’s environment, and often that means extending high-speed and high-bandwidth signals beyond maximum specification distances.
USB, in particular, was a recurrent problem. SuperSpeed 3.0 signals are required for camera video transmission, but USB is notoriously difficult to integrate due to a 5m (16 ft) maximum cable specification. Many simulator integrations require longer cable runs and custom cable paths, especially when considering the space and range of motion requirements for users.
To solve this challenge, aboutGOLF leveraged TechLogix and their MOFO™ line of fiber-based USB cables. MOFO™ cables extend USB, HDMI and DisplayPort signals up to 50m (165 ft) using a standard fiber optic core.
