TechLogix Introduces Esports Video Cables
TechLogix Networx, a leading-developer of fiber optic technology, has launched HDMI and DisplayPort video cables specifically designed for electronic gaming and Esports competition.
Unlike traditional video cables which are limited in length and video-processing speed, TechLogix cables leverage a fiber optic core that supports true, real-time 8K and 4K120 video with bandwidths up to 32.4G. Plus, the fiber design provides complete immunity to RF and electromagnetic interference, which can plague high-capacity installations.
“We’re increasingly seeing electronic gaming installations with our technology,” explains TechLogix CEO Cameron Smith. “Fiber is a natural choice for mission-critical applications and recent technology developments actually make it easier to use than traditional copper-based cables.
Traditional HDMI and DisplayPort video cables require shielding that affects their size, pliability, weight, and longevity. The TechLogix optical core doesn’t require shielding, allowing a finished cable with a 5mm (0.2 inch) jacket, 7.5mm (0.3 inch) bend radius, 45kg (100lb) pull-rating and a weight reduction up to 75%. Plus, less strain provides a greater life expectancy even in the harshest environments.
TechLogix cables are available in stock lengths up to 50m (165ft) and don't require secondary power supplies.
