TechLogix Launches 12 port Low Voltage Power Hub

Madison, Wisconsin, USA – U.S.-based manufacturer TechLogix Networx has furthered their commitment to audio-visual signal distribution with the TL-RKPS-01 low voltage power hub. It joins several other recent product releases, including a full line of 18G distribution amplifiers, meeting room collaboration systems, and automated controllers.

The TL-RKPS-01 eliminates the need for “wall-wart” and “line-lump” power supplies that traditionally clutter the audio-visual rack by providing channel selectable 5, 12 and 24VDC power to up to 12 devices simultaneously.

Originally designed for TechLogix twisted pair and fiber optic extenders, the selectable voltage per channel makes the TL-RKPS-01 ideal for a myriad of audio-visual devices from different manufacturers, including splitters, switchers, converters and processors.

“Clean installations are required from any professional integration firm,” explains Cameron Smith, TechLogix CEO. “And it’s hard to create a clean rack with dozens of bulky power supplies. The TL-RKPS-01 was designed in partnership with integrators to not only streamline installations, but also provide after install troubleshooting assistance.”

To assist with troubleshooting, the TL-RKPS-01 features individual remote channel control via the front panel, RS232, Ethernet or through a built-in webserver. Additional features such as 100ms startup sequencing, front panel keylock, input channels rated for 100-240VAC, and dual redundant power inputs make the TechLogix power hub incredibly versatile and comparable to most traditional power distribution units.

The TL-RKPS-01 retails for $1,399. Additional information is available online at www.tlnetworx.com.
